2 Weeks Notice!!!

I officially have two weeks until this little baby boy graces us with his precence (if not sooner.) Due to tax purposes I will be induced on Dec. 29th and even though I am very tired of being pregnant, I hope he doesn't come before then. I really want to be able to fully enjoy Christmas with my family and especially with Hayden!!
I am getting a little more nervous as it gets closer. I think I am ready, but this being my second baby I know you can never fully prepare for the changes a baby brings!!
Despite knowing how hard it is going to be I am soooo excited!!! It is such a rush walking into the hospital knowing that in a few hours you are going to meet this little baby that has been so close to you for the last nine months!! I am excited for the labor (strange enough), I am very interested to see how much easier it will be the second time around. I can not wait to see him and see if he looks similar or different than Hayden. I cant wait to use all the little boy things that we have and dress him the cute blue and red and green clothes. I cant wait to see how Hayden reacts to a new baby in the house, I really think she is going to love it and be a great big sister!!
Exciting times are ahead for the Gibbons family and we cant wait!!!!

Random-ness!!

This is what happened when we started getting all the stuff out for the baby.
She sucked on that pacifier all night and the next morning asked for the pink binky. Needless to say she didn't get it.

She thought it was pretty cool to have this towel on her head.
Out on their first sledding adventure...I am so glad to have a husband that does these activities, my kids would live a very boring life if it were just me!!

Thrilled to be going out in the snow.
A cake I made for a friend. Don't look too close, you will see it defiantly is NOT perfect, but it was fun to make! I finally attempted fondant and it wasn't has hard as I thought. And if you cant tell it is a sandwich (she really likes sandwiches!!)

Mini Vaca!!!

Last week Colin had to work at a convention up in Salt Lake, so Hayden and I decided to tag along. The convention was at the Salt Palace, so generous folks at Sisel (Colin's work) put us up at the Marriott right across the street. Colin had to work about 12 hours a day, so we didn't get to do much with him, but Hayden and I had a lot of fun just the two of us.

One of the days I took Hayden to the Discovery Gateway. She loved it and I am pretty sure she could have stayed all day!!

They have the cutest little Grocery store where the kids can shop for food and then check out.

Cool helicopter that she wasn't too impressed with.
Future news anchor.

Riding trax. This and swimming were probably the highlights of her trip.
Very excited to get on Trax!!
The other day we went to the zoo!
Being goofy!!
Of course her favorite part of the zoo was the train ride.

You cant tell in the picture, but this Gorilla had a big chunk of fresh poop that he was eating for snack. It was so gross!!! Now when we talk about the zoo Hayden says "Gorilla, eat dirt."

This is a bad pictures, but that is the baby elephant behind Hayden. So cute!!

I Had a Birthday, Shout Hurray!!

I celebrated my birthday Saturday night. We ate a Red Robin in Salt Lake and then went to the Desert Star theater with Janice and her Friends. We saw the play "Snooty and the Beast," it was really funny, we defiantly recommend going to this theater!! Thanks for the tickets Jan!! It was a great birthday.

She Had a Birthday, Shout Hurray!!

We celebrated Hayden's birthday yesterday by having family come over for a little party. We ate homemade Cafe Rio salads, played a game, opened presents and had cake and ice cream.
All day we made a pretty big deal about it being her birthday and having a party so I think she kind of knew what was going on and was excited to be in the spotlight. She loved all of the balloons and had the most fun just playing with Gavin and Drew.
The cake...yes I am quite proud of the way it turned out.

Forcing Gavin and Hayden to stop playing and look at the camera for three seconds.

Megan, Dean, Leah, Jozy, Steven, Hayden and Tiffany
We had a little fish pond for the kids where they could fish for prizes. It turned out to be a very easy and fun game.
Hayden eating her fish/prizes from the pond.
Opening presents.
She got a Dora movie from Grandma and Grandpa Gibbons
I made her this Strawberry Shortcake blanket. Colin and I also got her a book and a Table and Chair set. My parents gave her a little bear figurine and they chipped in on the table. Also Dean and Megan got her two HUGE balloons, that had to be put away promptly with two little boys running around. :)
Drew got her a baby doll
Blowing out the (balloon) candles.
Yum, Yum!!
The three stooges eating their cake, they were all so excited to each get a balloon piece!!

Oregon Trip 2009

Last week Hayden and I were able to go up to Oregon for my nieces baptism. Most of my family was able to come except Colin, Sandi, Ava and Crosby...we missed them!!
Flying on the airplane was pretty exciting for Brooklyn and Hayden.

At Heidi's baptism. Hayden talked about this for days afterward. She would say "Baptize, Heidi, Dad, WaWa."
Heidi asked Uncle Chris to give a talk, he did a great job!!
One of the days we went to Roloff Farms. I dont know how many of you watch of have heard of the show Little People, Big World, but this is their farm. They have a pumpkin patch and activities for kids in the fall. They also give tours of the farm. I watch the show so I was pretty excited to be there and see some of them. This is a picture of the Dad.
One of the twin brothers Jeremy. All of the teenage girls were so excited to see him, it was pretty funny!!
This is the other twin brother. We didn't see the mom, sister or youngest boy.
Watching a movie with Granny Jo and Grandpa...it doesnt get much better than that.
We went to another pumpkin patch. The kids had a lot of fun!!
Holding baby chicks.

Going down the slide for the hundreth time.

My mom bought them all these cute dresses for Christmas, but they were too excited to wait so they got to wear them to church.
