He was in seventh heaven with this snickers.
This past weekend we went down to St. George for our annual Gibbons trip. I was a loser and hardly took any pictures. We had a ton of fun though.
We left Thursday afternoon and stayed in Cedar with Denim and Sandi. After the kids went to bed we played a mean (literally) game of Phase 10, who knew a simple card game could bring out so much animosity in people. We have vowed just to stick Rook from now on!!
Friday morning we woke up and saw puzzles done all over the floor, toys ALL over the playroom and the girls were already dressed up. We didn't think much of it until Brooklyn informed us that they had only slept for a couple of hours and then woke up and had been player ever since. Turns out they woke up at 3:00am, went to the bathroom and never went back to sleep!! We knew we were in for a long day, luckily Hayden immediately fell asleep as soon as we left for St. George and then took another nap later in the day!!
Friday we played at the park for about 7 minutes and decided it was too hot, so we headed back to the condo and went swimming. Carson went swimming for the first time and thought it was pretty cool!! We had a BBQ that night and then after Hayden and Carson were in bed Colin and I played Tennis with Dean and Megan. I always forget how much I like playing tennis!
Saturday we swam again, Colin watched the USA get beat in the World cup and the girls took the kids to Toy Story 3...it is a really good movie!! That evening we all went out to dinner at a Mexican restaurant and then Denim, Sandi, Colin, me, Dean and Megan went to Tuachan. Denim got $10 tickets through his work, so we jumped at the chance to go. We saw 'Cats,' it wasn't the best Broadway show I've ever seen, but it was entertaining and we had really good seats, so it was well worth it.
Sunday we packed up and headed home. Jordan, Hayden, Mckenzie, Taylor, Gavin and Sheylie
Taylor, Hayden and Mckenzie
Hayden holding Carson. He really did like it, he pretty much likes anything if it involves Hayden.
A couple of weeks ago we went up to Strawberry Reservoir with some friends and spent the night at their cabin.
Life doesn't get much better than this!!
That is how she held that "s'more" the entire time she ate it, I don't think she had one bit of marshmallow or chocolate on her hand when she was done...so girly!!!
Beautiful girl!!
Sleepy boy!!
So cute!!

More House Pics
Carson's room.
Hayden's room.
Garage. Because we got the bonus room above the garage it added on six feet in depth, so we have plenty of room to store our junk and park our cars.
Outside of house. A couple of weeks ago I was again looking on KSL and a guy was giving away free sod, so we went and got enough to do our front yard. It still needs a lot of tender-loving care, but hopefully one day it will look nice!!
Half-bath...not very exciting, but you can get a little peak at Carson. :)

Our House is a Very, Very, Very Fine House...
We moved into our house about a month ago. So far we are loving it and couldn't ask for more (hopefully it stays that way for awhile!!) Here are some pictures I took. I couldn't get the kids rooms because they are sleeping, but I will take those pictures tomorrow along with the outside and I just remembered I didnt get the garage or half bath. I will hopefully post all those tomorrow night.
We have already met and made friends with quite a few people in our neighborhood, so far there five girls and two boys all Hayden's age!! I am so excited for Hayden and Carson to make friends and hopefully be able to grow up with these kids. I never realized how lucky I was to grow up in a neighborhood where most of us lived our whole lives and to have made life long friends!! It is such a good feeling to be settled and I really want my kids to have that sense of stability...I hope we can be here for along time!!!!
Sorry, the order of these is kind of backwards and I am way too lazy to rearrange them!So these two pictures are mine and Colin's very luxurious and spacious master bathroom! Only the best for us! :)
Our closet
Our bedroom (not decorated yet).
The laundry room. I am only slightly embarrassed by our yellow dryer. Do you notice that white thing under the washer, that is a drain and within the first 24 hours that thing saved our lives. I started a load of wash and somehow during the move something came loose so during the rinsing cycle all the water started pouring out the bottom. If it hadn't have been for that we would have had water everywhere and probably would have had to replace carpet. Yay for Salisbury Homes putting a drain in!!!
Here is the kids bathroom...cute shower curtain huh?
Pretty much the same set up as ours.
The fourth bedroom/playroom for now.
Standing at the top of the stairs looking into the kids bathroom. The door on the right is the laundry room, the last door on the left is Hayden's room, middle doorway is the playroom and first door on left is a closet.
Still standing at the top of the stairs. Door closed is Carson's room and dark abyss is mine and Colin's room.
Right when you walk upstairs this is what you see. To the left is the bonus room and that door is the same closet you saw earlier.
These two pictures are the unfinished bonus room. If it is up to Colin one day that will be a theater room.
This is the main floor. It is all open.
Looking up the stairs from the front door.
Cute little nook.
Entryway.
View from the front door.
Living room.
That area where the baby swing is is kind of strange waste of space right now. But I think in the future when we can afford more furniture, like a piano, bookshelf desk, ect... it will come in really handy.
Hayden's dining area. The door to the left of her table is a closet, the first door on the right is the half bath and other door goes into the garage. I didn't think I liked half baths, I think they always smell funny and are just kind of gross, but it has been so nice to have with potty training Hayden. By the way Hayden is officially potty trained and for the most part she just trained herself. She is amazing!!!!
The dining room... I CAN NOT wait to get a new dining room set!!! That door in the back leads out to the backyard.
Another view of dining room.
The kitchen.
More kitchen.
The island...the best purchase I have ever made!! The space where the island is was empty and I debated for weeks trying to figure out what to put there. Finally one day I was looking on KSL and came across this island that a lady was selling for $50. I immediately called Colin and had him look at it and he immediately said buy it. So I did and it is fit perfectly!! We did have to replace the counter top, but that only cost another $50. So for a hundred bucks we practically doubled our counter top space, added four drawers, a big cabinent and a bar. What a deal!!!
