Fun in the Sun

The weather was finally warm enough for the kids to run through the sprinklers. Hayden wasn't a huge fan of the water, but still had fun.

Canoeing

Back in May 2006 Colin and I had our first official date. I had just gotten off of work and was talking to Janice on the phone. I was panicking because we had hung out with Colin and his friends the night before and thought he acted weird, like he wasn't interested in me. In the middle of the conversation I got another call from Colin!!! He asked me if I wanted to go canoeing with his Dads class. That made me very happy and I didn't have to worry anymore about whether or not he liked me.
We had a lot of fun and have tried to make it a tradition to go every year. We missed last year because we were in Phoenix, but we were able to make it again this year. We were thinking about taking Hayden with us, but after I told my Mom that idea she had a fit and told us there was no way were taking her canoeing. So Hayden stayed with Granny Jo and Colin and I were able to go on a date just the two of us. I am so happy to be back in Utah!!!
