Yesterday we did our traditional Lagoon day with my family. We had a blast!!Standing in line for her very first ride at Lagoon.
She fell asleep mid-bite eating ice cream.
Oh, to be a kid again!!!
Heil Hilter!
Hayden is very brave when it comes to riding scary rides. My Dad took her on the Tidal Wave and of course they had to sit as high as they could.
She did this a lot!
Standing in line for what became my new favorite ride at Lagoon...The Ladybug Bop!
Saturday we went out to do some four wheeling and picnicking.Carson's first four wheeler ride.
We call him Hans...no this is not what he came dressed in.
This is just dirt, I promise!I think she has fallen asleep every time she has ridden a four wheeler.
So sweet!!
My two nieces are here visiting from Portland for a week. I had them for a day so we headed up to Sandy to the Aquarium. Giant Anaconda snake behind us.
Very cool Penguins.

Park City Arts Festival & Pizza
Colin and I were given a gift certificate to a pizza place in Park City, so last Saturday we invited my parents and Colin's parents to go with us. Turns out that weekend was an arts festival so we got to walk around and see all the amazing art work...people are so talented!!Hayden just so happened to be wearing the perfect dress for an event like this. She had SOOOOO many comments on how cute she was and how cute her dress was. It was pretty funny!

July 4th in Blanding
We were able to go down to Blanding this year for the 4th. It has been about a year since we were last down there, so we were definitely due. My Mom, Dad, Chris and Denim, Sandi and kids all came too. We all stayed at my Grandma's house, which worked out very well. The kids had a blast playing in the basement with all the old toys and the adults got in a lot of Rook and Dominion time.Waiting for the fireworks to start.
Still waiting!!
Hayden, Carson and Chris' legs.
Look at the innocent face. Last week me and Hayden hit a bit of a rough patch and that face wasnt quite so innocent. Last Wednesday first thing in the morning she told looked at Colin and said "I like my Dad, I no like Mom." And then she said "I like Brooklyn and Ave, I no like Crosby." I knew she meant business by putting me in the same category as Crosby!!
Then later in the day she topped it off by calling me "mean." She has never called anyone mean in her whole life, so I was totally shocked when that came out of her mouth. I am not going to lie I was pretty hurt and offended by her "verbal abuse," but looking back I can see that I brought it on myself. I was impatient, had a bad attitude and really was "mean" at times. Needless to say I have had changed my ways and we are doing much better this week...she has even said quite a few times that she likes me!!!Blanding went all out and got a few rides.
Haydens favorite part of the parade was seeing Smokey the Bear. She now says he is her favorite animal.
Towards the end of the parade.
Enjoying the parade.
This is a horrible picture, but those four tiny specks in the air are F-16s jets. That was the first time Blanding has done that, it was pretty cool.
Hayden showing her respect for the flag.
Waiting to load up on candy.
Our little boy scout.
Being scary dinosaurs.
We hit up the dinosaur museum. The kids loved it.
As much as these two fight and argue they really do have a lot of fun together.
Carson and Granny Jo cheering on the horse-shoe players.
Sunday we went up the cabin and ate lunch, played Horse-shoes, played Mad Gab, swung on the rope swing, went for a little hike. It was so nice up there!!These were three of my attempts to get a picture of Hayden. Didn't I do a great job??
