For the 4th this year we started off by driving down to Mt. Pleasant to attend the parade down there. The only parade in Utah County is the Provo one and it is way too crowded, so we were willing to drive a little ways so the kids could get their years supply of candy. Mt. Pleasant is a cute little town and they had a pretty good parade. We spent the rest of the day in Orem at Colin's parents house. Their neighborhood had their annual "Culd-a-sac of Fire" so we got to eat some good food and see some fireworks. Good times had by all!!

I laugh that you went to Mt Pleasant for the parade! That is where my Dad is from and grew up. Most of his family live in Spring City right down the road, so I'm sure there were a bunch of them enjoying the parade too. We had fun at the Blanding festivities it was really fun this year too.
Kelly!! I was catching up on your blog and saw that you came up to our neck of the woods!! How fun! Mark just got done building another cabin up in Island Park and we have pretty much spent half of our summer up at his families cabin at Macks Inn. Love that place. Big Springs is just up the way from where we are. :) Next time you guys make it up here, you have to float the river...it is super fun!
